Infinity Developments Buys Dh60 million Business Bay Office as Dubai Base for Global Growth
Infinity Developments has boosted its UAE presence with the purchase of about 20,000-square-feet of Grade A office space in Dubai’s Business Bay, a transaction valued at Dh60 million (about $16 million). Bought at an average of nearly Dh3,000 per square foot, the acquisition is a cornerstone of the company’s international growth plan. Chairman and CEO Samuel Saba said Dubai’s role as a global business hub linking investors, companies and markets across Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia was a key motivator for the move. He described Business Bay as a strategically located base that provides access to major finance, business and real estate clusters. The company regards the purchase as both a corporate infrastructure upgrade and a strategic play in Dubai’s commercial-property market, which it believes remains significantly undervalued and shows strong momentum for capital appreciation as demand for premium office space builds. Infinity is also assessing potential office acquisition opportunities in Europe. This investment complements the developer’s expansion beyond Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania, where its portfolio includes luxury hospitality, residential, mixed-use and heritage-led developments. With a development portfolio valued at about $600 million, projects under the Infinity banner include Anantara Zanzibar Resort Residences, Infinity Hills and the upcoming NH Collection Pemba Wellness Resort, together with hospitality and heritage initiatives in Stone Town, including restoration work. The Business Bay purchase strengthens Infinity’s international platform, aiding investor access and coordination of regional and global operations.
